Autumn's Crescendo

This has been my idea of a perfect fall.  The temperatures were unseasonably warm.  There was just enough rain and it lacked the high winds we often experience here in the northeast US.  Add to that a wet spring and relatively little insect damage and our trees were in healthy enough condition to give us a vibrant and long lasting foliage display.
Calm water gives the best reflective surface for photography.  I've been known to drop everything I'm doing and run for the camera if the breezes die down.

It may take a bit of climbing but the expanse of landscape is worth it.

Ta Da!!
